Web Hosting Guide

This is a very basic web hosting guide which was written especially for newbies. In this guide, you’ll learn how to identify your actual requirements, choosing the right hosting provider and plan for your needs, and setting up your website for the first time. I also included a few general tips on things to look out for so you don’t fall for sneaky tactics that can catch you off guard and make you waste money on unnecessary things.

Please note that this guide is mostly a guide on shared hosting, although other types of hosting plans are briefly discussed as well.

Most of the information regarding hosting account setup and other settings are based on the cPanel control panel. However, the steps should be very similar to the ones posted here even if your host uses a different control panel.
