I’ve technically been with HostGator for at least 3 years and I manage different types of accounts with them. HG was good the past few years but the quality of their service has declined recently. What Makes Review Hell Different?
Here’s a secret: Most web hosting review sites are just after affiliate commissions. They don’t care if you’re going to have a horrible experience with the “best web host” they recommend. Review Hell is the exact opposite of those sites.
Last year, I signed up for Bluehost mainly because they had a nice Black Friday deal. I can’t remember what the exact offer was but it was around $40 for a whole year of hosting. At that time I needed a host for one of my new projects (a sports blog/info site), so I thought it was the perfect opportunity to try Bluehost! Unfortunately things didn’t go so well — I figured that they overload their servers and their support team definitely sucks.
I had MDDHosting in my shortlist for a while because I wasn’t sure if I wanted to spend almost twice the amount I was spending on my old host. But when I finally experienced their service, I thought I should’ve made the switch sooner because they are very reliable and they have exceptional support. I couldn’t be happier!
